Good meat from 7th generation butcher family De Jong & Vader are served in this restaurant and you can taste the difference. In the cozy restaurant, you can take a seat and be amazed by the quality of the food.
We went for dinner and decided to take a mixed platter to share as a starter. Which is already quite big, and can’t even imagine if we ordered the even bigger platter as a starter we would have had more then enough before we could get the main course. The platter is a mix of cheese, ham, and croquettes which is also a perfect option to take with a good glass of wine when you feel like having a snack with friends and an excellent selection of good wines.
For the main course, I took the gentlemen’s steak. My friend took the fish of the day which was a deliciously cooked salmon which looked amazing! In the kitchen, they have a big charcoal grill of 2 meters wide combined with a Big Green Egg to make the dishes. The Chef Olaf Oldenburg specializes in this kind of dishes. And not only meat but fish, vegetables and more can be perfectly cooked on there.
One of the good benefits restaurant De With has is that it has a nice terrace to sit outside on perfect summer eves. Often you can have live music in the street and you can sit for quite some time since the restaurant is open till late.
